When you check in to any one of these hotels with your pet, the hotel will donate $5 to PAWS’ Free Spay/Neuter Program.
This fantastic partnership will help curb the pet over-population crisis in our small resort community. Each year our local animal shelter sees over 600 pets come through the doors. Many are reunited with their owners, but most are abandoned. Due to our worsening economy many people do not have the money to alter their pets and simply allow them to breed or worse, breed them for money. Pets that cannot be sold end up at the shelter which results in over-crowding. Many pets wait at the shelter for months for their new family.
PAWS of Jackson Hole feels the best way to help is to prevent unwanted puppies and kittens by spaying and neutering as many local pets as possible. We offer free spay/neuter vouchers to all residents that have lived in our valley for at least one-year. Since the inception of this program, PAWS has sterilized over 1,200 pets!
