Jackson/Teton County Animal Shelter
In 2009, PAWS celebrates 10 years of advocating for animals and partnering with The Jackson/Teton County Animal Shelter! When PAWS first incorporated as a non-profit organization, our goal was simple: to help our local shelter by promoting the adoption of local homeless pets. Today, that goal is still at the core of our mission, but we’ve expanded our support to include everything from coordinating volunteers, hosting fundraisers, donating beds and supplies, and hiring a trainer to work with the dogs.
Last year, PAWS was thrilled to move forward with plans to update the Jackson/Teton County Animal Shelter with some cosmetic improvements. The Shelter received beautiful landscaping in the outdoor dog playpen and a fresh coat of paint and new carpeting inside the building.
The ultimate goal was to make the shelter more welcoming to the public. We think we succeeded, but don’t take our word for it! Drop by the Jackson/Teton County Animal Shelter at 3150 Adams Canyon Road, (south of town by the recycling center), to check out the improvements and to see all the friendly furry faces waiting for new homes. Or simply click HERE to be connected to petfinder!
