Jackson/Teton County Animal Shelter
Our partnership with the Jackson/Teton County Animal Shelter is one of our core programs. We support our local shelter in the adoption of LOCAL HOMELESS PETS. We volunteer time walking the dogs, we co-host Seans Club at the Summit High School, we provide food, supplies and extras, like dog beds to keep shelter guests happy, healthy, and comfortable. Plus, we help facilitate when emergencies arise.
Additionally, we promote the adoption of LOCAL HOMELESS PETS with sponsored weekly print and TV advertising. Look for the Pet of the Week and help us find homes for Jackson's homeless pets!
In 2007, donations to PAWS helped to buy new beds for the shelter dogs, advertise the Pet of the Week to encourage local pet adoption, and provided for please adopt vests.
PAWS has established an online database of local adoptable animals.
